Senior AI Adoption & Change Consultant — Join a growing team helping major clients bridge the gap between AI and human adoption
We usually respond within a day
Helsinki (Hybrid) · Full-time, Permanent
You've already built real skill in facilitating change, coaching, or training, maybe around AI, maybe in a broader consulting or organizational development context. You know how to hold a room and make a complicated topic click. But somewhere along the way, you started wondering whether you'll ever get to own the direction of the program you're delivering, instead of just running the sessions someone else designed.
This role exists because Gapps' AI Adoption work has grown faster than the number of people who can lead it. Gapps' AI Adoption business is still young, but it's already found real traction: one large client's program is running at full scale, and new demand keeps coming in alongside it. Right now, all of that sits on two people's shoulders. What's missing is someone who can take real ownership of it.
The role at a glance
✅ What you'll do: Lead Gapps' validated AI Adoption program for a major client, guiding staff and leadership through the change while shaping how the program itself develops.
✅ Where: Hybrid, based at Gapps' Helsinki HQ in Kalasatama. This isn't a fully remote role: client trainings and workshops often need your presence on-site, and you'll be the one judging when that matters most.
✅ Your growth: Grow this role into AI Adoption Lead, a service-owner position, or a broader customer-responsibility role as Gapps' AI team expands.
✅ Team: You'll work closely with Lauri and with our other new team members joining the AI Solution team this fall on substance and AI adoption, and with Vesa (CEO) on business priorities and direction.
✅ Compensation: Base salary 4,500 to 4,800 euros a month, plus a targeted annual bonus of 10,000 to 20,000 euros.
Why not apply? If you want a fixed training package to repeat as it is, or you're looking for a pure technical development role or a pure project management role, this isn't the right fit. You'll build and adapt the program as you deliver it.
Why Gapps is your next move
Maybe you're already driving AI transformation in a consultancy or an internal enablement team, and everyone around you keeps talking about AI. The trainings happen, people nod along, and then almost nothing changes in how the organization works the following week. You deliver one workshop after another, disconnected from each other, with no real mandate to shape where the whole effort is going.
Or maybe you're the person inside a large organization who has quietly become the AI expert everyone turns to, but you're still waiting for a decision from three layers above you before you can try anything new. Your ideas for how the program should evolve sit in a queue. The label says trainer or coach, but what you actually want is ownership of the outcome, not just the delivery.
At Gapps, the situation looks different. One large client already has an extensive, ongoing AI adoption program running, and new requests are already coming in alongside it. The demand is real, and it's already proven. What's missing is someone who can take that program and run with it, working across individual coaching, team training, and leadership conversations, while also shaping the training model itself as you go.
You'd work closely with Lauri and our other new team members joining this fall. The team currently holds most of this knowledge and has calendars full with client work, concept development, and training content all at once. That's exactly why this role exists now. Gapps needs someone who can independently own a client's AI adoption progress, so the business isn't dependent on one or two people carrying it all.
This isn't an entry point into change management. It's a role for someone who has already proven they can walk into a room with business leadership and hold their own, and who wants to build a repeatable model out of a program that's still finding its shape. If you do that well, the next step is clear: AI Adoption Lead, a service-owner role, or broader customer responsibility as Gapps grows this side of the business.

What the role involves
You'd take Gapps' existing AI Adoption framework and make it work for a specific client, watching how the change actually lands and adjusting the program based on what you see.
Training, coaching and facilitation
You'd design and lead AI and Google Workspace training, meeting participants at their actual level, whether they're picking up AI for the first time or already pushing its limits. Gapps' AI Adoption framework itself isn't tied to one technology. It's been built out through Google Workspace work so far, given where Gapps comes from, but the same approach applies just as well to other environments like Azure as client needs evolve. You'd facilitate workshops, labs, and coaching sessions, and train the client's own AI Champions so the change doesn't depend on you being in the room forever.
Design and lead AI and Google Workspace training for mixed skill levels
Facilitate workshops, labs, mentoring, and coaching sessions
Train the client's own AI Champions and other early adopters
Adapt your teaching style based on the group in front of you
AI adoption and change leadership
You'd map out where the client's people stand with AI today, build a realistic path forward, and name the blockers when you see them, whether they're technical, psychological, or organizational. Fear and resistance around AI come up in this kind of work, and part of the job is talking about that openly rather than around it.
Assess the client's current AI skills and usage patterns
Build a realistic adoption roadmap for the organization
Identify and address blockers to participation and adoption
Talk openly about AI-related concerns and resistance
Activate the client's own people as champions of the change
Co-owning the customer project
You'd carry shared responsibility for the customer project together with sales, the productization side, and the technical team, not alone. That means coordinating schedules with the client and the wider Gapps team, making sure agreed deliverables land on time and at the right quality, flagging risks before they become problems, and staying credible even in moments when you don't have every answer yet.
Coordinate training and event schedules with the client and the wider Gapps team
Deliver agreed outcomes on time and at the right quality, together with sales, productization, and the technical team
Communicate with the client's project leadership and stakeholders
Flag risks early rather than letting them surface late
Content and service development
On the content side, you'd take the existing materials library and adaptation framework and make it sharper: adjusting programs for different industries, levels, and needs, and documenting what works into a shared playbook so the service doesn't rely on any single person's knowledge or delivery style.
Own and refine Gapps' existing AI Adoption materials and framework
Adapt programs across industries, organizational levels, and skill levels
Document what works into a shared playbook for the wider team
Measuring impact
Finally, you'd track whether any of this is actually working. That means gathering feedback, both the kind you can count and the kind people tell you directly, watching how many participants actually change their day-to-day habits, and using what you learn to adjust the next round of training rather than just repeating the last one.
Collect qualitative and quantitative feedback from participants
Track participation, activity, and real behavior change
Report findings to the client and the Gapps team
Adjust the program based on what the data actually shows
A typical week
Some days you're in front of a room, running a hands-on AI lab or coaching a team through their first real use case. Other days you're one-on-one with a nervous manager who isn't sure AI is for them, or in a planning conversation with Lauri and with our other new team members joining this fall about how to adapt the program for a new part of the client's organization. You'll also spend time on the less visible work: reviewing feedback, updating materials, and figuring out what the data is telling you about where the adoption is stalling.
The mix shifts as the client relationship matures. Early months lean heavily toward direct delivery and orientation; later months shift more toward ownership, measurement, and shaping what comes next.
Stakeholders
Lauri and our other new team members joining this fall on AI substance, the Google ecosystem, and how the program should evolve
Vesa (CEO) on business priorities, budget, and where the AI Adoption business is heading
Katja Järveläinen (HR of People and Culture) and Vivien Rintala (People Operations Lead) on culture, ways of working, and team fit
The client's own stakeholders, from individual employees and AI Champions up to team leads and business leadership

About Gapps
Gapps is a Finnish digital transformation and cloud consultancy. It was founded in 2010 and has spent the years since helping organizations get real value out of Google Workspace and Google Cloud, work that remains at the core of the business today.
Where the business stands
Gapps has grown into a multi-million euro business and earned Google Cloud Country Partner of the Year for Finland. The team now covers cloud infrastructure, AI, managed services, digital workplace, and security.
The AI Adoption work this role sits within isn't a new experiment. One large client already has an extensive, ongoing AI adoption program running, and new demand is already emerging alongside it. That's a validated business, not a bet.
Where it's heading
Gapps is shifting its center of gravity from one-off implementation projects and license revenue toward productized services, long-term partnerships, and AI-driven solutions that create recurring, measurable value for customers.
In 2026, Vesa Sironen returned as CEO to lead this next chapter
The goal: build Gapps into Finland's most trusted partner for AI and cloud services
AI Adoption is one of the areas where that shift is already happening in practice, not just on paper
Culture and how people work
Gapps is small enough that your work is visible and your decisions carry real consequences for customers and the business. The people here are certified cloud and security architects and AI specialists who take their craft seriously, and the culture reflects that.
High professional standards paired with low hierarchy
Genuine autonomy over how you do your work
Leadership that gives responsibility early, and pairs decision-making with collective problem-solving
An environment that's intentionally still being built, where the next thing shaped is something you'll have had a real hand in
Benefits & practicals
Salary
Base salary 4,500 to 4,800 euros a month. On top of that, a targeted annual bonus of 10,000 to 20,000 euros, tied to your performance in the role.
One honest note: the bonus model itself is still being finalized and may not be fully locked in by the time you start. If that's the case when you join, Gapps is open to arranging a guarantee bonus for the early period instead, so you're not left without clarity on this part of your pay.
Location
Hybrid, based at Gapps' Helsinki HQ in Kalasatama. This isn't a fully remote role: client trainings and workshops often need your presence on-site, and you'll be the one judging when that matters most. The Kalasatama office has ergonomic workstations, quiet focus spaces, a gym, and snacks. If you work mostly remotely, Gapps provides the tools and support to set up a proper home workstation.
Health and wellbeing
Extensive occupational healthcare
Comprehensive insurance
A benefits package covering both physical and mental health
The specifics get walked through during the process.
Professional growth
Access to Google certifications
Support for other professional development relevant to your role
Dedicated time built into your working hours for studying and developing your expertise
Language requirements
Excellent Finnish and good-to-excellent English, since the role reaches both individual employees and business leadership on the client side.
How to apply
Interested? Here's an honest look at what matters most for this role. You don't need to check every box, but these are the things that make the biggest difference.
Top 5 must-haves
Strong facilitation, training, and coaching skills. You know how to teach, not just present, and you can adapt on the spot when a room isn't responding the way you expected.
Credibility with clients and business leadership. You can hold a room of business leaders and executives just as comfortably as a room of first-time AI users.
A practical, grounded understanding of AI and generative AI. You can tell the difference between a realistic use case and hype, and you can discuss both clearly.
An understanding of change management and how people respond to change. You know that resistance to AI is often more human than technical, and you know how to work with that.
A proactive approach to owning projects and seeing the bigger picture. You don't wait for a finished task list. You notice what's needed and take it on.
Google Workspace, Gemini, or Google Cloud experience is a clear advantage, but it can be learned. What matters more is how quickly you pick up new tools and how clearly you can teach them to others, including people more experienced than you in other areas.
