This role is open because we’re reshaping our Essentials business, moving from license resale into high-value consulting and managed services. We need senior-level expertise to meet our clients’ expectations of enterprise-grade quality and to keep Gapps at the edge of modern cloud architecture and security.

Role details

What you’ll do

• Lead and deliver cloud architecture and security projects on Google Cloud (architecture development, migrations, foundations, platform engineering, audits, reviews, security development)

• Take full ownership of solutions and customer engagements: you’re not an order-taker, you’re the one challenging, advising, and steering the client

• Work hands-on in design and implementation; some projects are one-person assignments, others team-based

• Grow continuously: certifications are rewarded (200 € per cert bonus) and security expertise is central

Your typical week

• Daily: Join your Secure Cloud Infrastructure & Platform team’s check-in to align and spar with colleagues.

• Most of your time: Embedded in client projects, designing and securing cloud environments.

• Sometimes: Support presales or internal service development when your expertise is needed.

• Weekly: Monday planning and competence team session, ensuring learning flows back into the Gapps community.

Key stakeholders

• Your core team of 5–7 cloud & security specialists (growing this year)

• Customers’ technical and business teams, where you act as trusted advisor

• Occasionally, sales & pr colleagues when shaping opportunities

How to apply

Top 5 critical things we’re looking for:

1. Solid background in cloud infrastructure (You’ve got at least 3–5 years hands-on)

2. Google Cloud experience (ideally 2–5 years; AWS/Azure background + strong willingness to specialize also considered)

3. Security interest or experience – already hands-on or eager to develop deep Cloud Security Architecture expertise

4. Proactive, “let’s go” attitude – you take ownership and move forward even in uncertainty

5. Strong communication skills – clients expect you to advise, not just execute
