As the Service Lead for our Google Cloud business, you'll be at the forefront of revolutionizing digital work for our customers in the Nordics. With us, you'll lead a team of passionate experts, diving into exciting Google Cloud projects, shaping architectures, enhancing security, and driving migrations. What kind of role will you step into?

We are looking for a Service Leader to lead our team of experts. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about technology, enjoys working with customers, and gets excited about solving interesting challenges. We are seeking an expert who wants to contribute to helping our customers grow and succeed with modern cloud solutions.

You will join our team of seven engineers and work closely with Sales and Account Executives on customers' Google Cloud environments and related development work. The core of your duties will involve consultative expert work, leading the team of experts, and overseeing development projects with customers and as part of project teams.

Development projects can include, for example:

Google Cloud (Google Cloud Platform) architecture and management design
Consolidation, differentiation, or migrations of Google Cloud environments
Google Cloud security reviews and cloud security development
Developing legacy infrastructure to be scalable using Google Cloud components

What is required to be successful in this role?

Above all, we are looking for a dynamic and development-oriented leader who is motivated by broadening and deepening their professional skills, specifically with Google Cloud. Previous experience with Google Cloud is not necessary, but understanding of other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, will help you get up to speed. A key ingredient is your positive and active approach to learning and experimenting. At Gapps, you'll get to develop your competence quickly through customer projects, collaborating with peers, and self-study.

Here are some key expectations and traits we consider most important for this position:

Operational management of the team against set KPIs and operational metrics
Technical ability at the level of being able to act as a technical project manager and an experienced expert in customer projects
Solution architecture and engineering ability to outline and identify customer needs and make expert solution proposals to support sales
Ability to create and develop technical operating models for providing services
An active approach to customer communication and a desire to dialogue with customers
Previous experience in doing AI and Security in a Cloud environment
The ability to act as a sparring partner for experienced experts
The desire to develop the expertise of team members and inspire them to succeed
Experience in portfolio and project management, including resourcing, invoicing, and assigning experts to projects

We expect you to have an existing residence permit/work permit in Finland.
